Library Hours: open for student use at 7:30 AM, tutorial, snack, both
lunch periods, Tuesday-Friday after school until 4:00 PM

The library has a collection of
30,000 books aligned to the DHS Curriculum. The library also has an
extensive fiction that includes books on Grade Level Reading Lists
and popular titles to encourage additional reading.

Downey High School subscribes to the InfoTrac database by Thomson Gale, which includes the five following
databases: Opposing Viewpoints, Resource Center, Student Resource
Center Gold (Periodical and newspaper articles are here),
Literature Resource Center, Biography Resource Center, History
