Dinah
Bear received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from
the University of Missouri in 1974 and her Juris Doctorate
from McGeorge School of Law in 1977. Dinah became General
Counsel on the Council of Environmental Quality in the
Executive Office of the President of the United States. She
has served under several Presidents of the United States |
George
Horton received a Master of Arts Degree from California
Lutheran College. He became head baseball coach at Cerritos
College, and was selected National Junior College Coach of
the year three times. He was selected four times as the
South Coast Conference Coach of the Year, and was inducted
into the California Community College Baseball Coaches
Association Hall of Fame. As head baseball coach at CSU
Fullerton, his teams won the Big West Conference title five
times, and won three trips to the NCAA College World Series. |
Carl
Kardinal attended the Washington University School of
Medicine. Eleven years after graduation he was selected as
Chairman of Medicine at the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center in
Columbia, Missouri and was on the faculty of the University
of Missouri School of Medicine. He became head of the
Clinical Cancer Research program at the Oschsner Clinic
Foundation in New Orleans and taught at the Tulane
University School of Medicine. |
Linda
Kennedy received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the
University of Southern California and a Master of Arts
degree in Education from Pepperdine University. She began
teaching in 1966 and became an elementary school principal
in 1979. She was principal for nineteen years before moving
to the District Office as Director of Curriculum and
Instruction and the New Teacher Programs. During her 36
years in education, she has received numerous awards for her
dedication to the students and teachers in Downey Unified
School District. |
John
Nogawski joined Paramount Studios in 1983, and thirteen
years later he was named Vice President Eastern Manager.
Two years later he relocated to Los Angeles as Senior Vice
President, General Sales Manager. In 1999 John was selected
as the President of Distribution for Domestic Television, a
division of Paramount Pictures. |
John
Tilley attended Whittier College and received a degree in
biochemistry. He then transferred to Idaho State University
College of Pharmacy on an NCAA golf scholarship. After
receiving his degree in pharmacy, he returned to Downey and
worked at Zweber Pharmacy eventually purchasing the
three-store pharmacy chain. John is active in the community
and serves on several national advisory boards. |
