A
well-known basketball coach throughout California, Dean has
won 12 conference championships and 4 state championships.
He coached the Downey Vikings basketball team to the 1979
CIF championship. He has served as Coordinator of Student
Activities at Cerritos College. Five times he was awarded
Coach of the Year by either the conference or the league.
He also received California Community College Coach of the
Year award. |
Dr.
Fingal is a highly respected and successful family practice
physician in Irvine. She has contributed to vital research
at UCLA helping to turn the tide against neonatal herpes
infections. She has published numerous scholarly papers.
She is highly regarded by her peers and in the community. |
As
a local business owner in Downey, Sal is well known
throughout the city. He has been an active member of the
Downey Optimist Club, Downey Chamber of Commerce, and Downey
Unico. He has received numerous humanitarian awards
including recognition from the City of Downey, the Downey
Coordinating Council, Unico National, and the City of Los
Angeles Human Relations Commission. |
As
a graduate of Pepperdine University with a Masters Degree in
Business Administration, Lon has distinguished himself in
the field of business. He is CEO and president of a major
company. Lon has been a generous contributor to the
community by volunteering his services as President of the
American Cancer Society and was honored as Business
Volunteer of the Year for the American Red Cross. |
As
a graduate from Ventura Community College, Elaine continued
to study watercolor under the tutelage of a number of
renowned artists. Several of her paintings have appeared
in popular magazines and art books. Her art studio is
featured in the Ojai Studio Art Tour. She has been an
inspiration to art students. |
As
a graduate from Mc George Law School, Jim has served as a
consultant and general counsel to a committee of the
California State legislature and as Sergeant at Arms and
Administrative Assistant to the Minority Whip. During his
career, he has achieved many awards including recognition
for trial advocacy and as a moot court solicitee. |
